The DB-Max diffusion cell block is 21 CFR Part 11 compliant and yields precise, reliable results in an easy-to-use platform. The DB-Max uses manual sampling methods in a six-cell block for release-rate and permeation testing of six vertical diffusion cells. Controlled by an advanced computerized display, the DB-Max provides uniform heating and stirring of the six cells. The DB-Max can be integrated into two Teledyne LABS automated diffusion testers, the Phoenix RDS and the new Phoenix Flex.

The DB-Max features six-cell, dry-heat technology with accurate temperature and stirring capabilities for manual experiments. Benefits include a compact design with advanced programming of methods, users, and step-by-step test guidance that includes an audit trail.

Six Diffusion Cells

Perform release-rate testing of six vertical diffusion cells at once. Phoenix cells operate on dry heat; no water-jacketing is required, allowing construction from heavy-duty borosilicate glass held to very tight dimensional tolerances.

Heating and Stirring Block

Starting at room temperature, the DB-Max block and its six diffusion cells typically reach the desired set point in 30 minutes or less.

Advanced Computer Display

Control the DB-Max with an advanced single-board computer built into the color touch screen display. The Linux-based operating system with its own SQL database provides outstanding memory and processing speed.

Compact Footprint

The compact footprint of the DB-Max economizes on lab bench space.
