Teledyne LABS is pleased to welcome Dr. Sascha Giegold as the company’s new sales manager for Europe, including the United Kingdom, the Middle East, India, and Africa (EMEIA).
Sascha is responsible for overall development of Teledyne LABS products in the EMEIA regions and will lead strategic account relationships, manage the products portfolio, drive revenue growth, and develop new customer partnerships.
“We’re pleased to welcome someone with Sascha’s expertise, experience and focus on customer care to the Teledyne LABS team,” said Brian Dutko, Sr. Vice President of Business Development and Sales for Teledyne LABS. “Sascha will be of great benefit to both our company and our clients in leading our aggressive growth plans in these regions for all Teledyne LABS products.”
Sascha previously was a director of global sales and marketing for GERSTEL (now Velaris), a maker of automation instruments and systems for sample introduction, preparation and cleanup for a variety of laboratory techniques, and an executive director for GERSTEL China. Earlier, he was an HPLC and software product manager at Shimadzu and a branch manager for one of the Shimadzu Deutschland offices.
“I am excited to help Teledyne LABS expand its reach into the laboratory marketplace to provide our valued customers with our extensive lineup of products and services,” Sascha said. “I’ve always heard great things about Teledyne LABS and look forward to working alongside our team of experts to offer a full line of robust, precise, easy-to-use instruments that help laboratory personnel work better, faster and with greater satisfaction.”
Sascha is the sales manager for all five of the decades-old Teledyne LABS brands:
- CETAC sample introduction and handling equipment

He lives in Duisburg, Germany, and enjoys spending time with his 16-year-old son. Sascha plays in a rock band, where at a height of 6-feet 8-inches, he may be the tallest guitarist in rock history. He loves anime and Japanese food and, yes, he played basketball in secondary school.
