Teledyne LABS has named Hector Bucaro the product line manager for its Teledyne Hanson brand of dissolution and diffusion cell testers, used in pharmaceutical development and quality control labs worldwide. In this role, he will focus on customer satisfaction and productivity, help grow the business and assist company representatives in providing exceptional customer care.
Hector will serve customers and the sales force by sharing his more than 16 years of experience and expertise as an application scientist and product manager at major chemistry and pharmaceutical companies, gaining advanced capabilities in dissolution and associated lab instrumentation. He has a highly successful track record in sales, customer service, training and product management. For example, he supervised implementation of quality control automation projects in Mexico, Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina.

Hector reports to Brian Dutko, Sr. Vice President of Business Development and Sales for Teledyne LABS and Teledyne SSI, which develop, manufacture and distribute a broad range of well-known and well-respected laboratory instruments used worldwide. “We are delighted to have Hector join our team at a very exciting time in our strategic growth phase,” Brian said. “He brings a wealth of experience in the dissolution and diffusion testing areas, which will be of tremendous value to our current customers and expanding customer base.”
Hector earned his bachelor’s degree in electro-mechanical engineering at the University of San Carlos de Guatemala, an MBA at the University Francisco Marroquin, and a networks specialization degree at the University Francisco Marroquin. All are in Guatemala City. He speaks English and Spanish. Hector lives happily with his wife of many years in St. Cloud, Florida, and has two adult sons. When not helping customers and the company, he enjoys traveling, fishing, and bicycle riding.
